Mahogany Springs is one of the luxury lodges in the Buhoma sector of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. It is set along the Munyanga River with views of the Bwindi rain-forest.
Accommodation is offered in superior suites available as double, twin, or triple rooms. The rooms are spacious, with large windows, en-suite bathrooms with hot showers, and private terraces overlooking the forest.
The honeymoon suite is similar to the superior suites but has a larger bed and a bathtub. The presidential or family suite can be arranged as a twin, double, triple, or quadruple. It has two bedrooms, en-suite showers, a living room, and a large terrace overlooking the river and forest.
The lodge gardens are designed with stone pathways leading to the river and views of local vegetable gardens. Mahogany Springs is managed by an experienced lodge manager who has worked in several top safari lodges in Kenya. The staff are well trained and give close attention to service.
The chef, Mahedev Subedi from Nepal, has more than 20 years of experience cooking in safari lodges. Other staff come from local Ugandan communities and are trained to provide warm hospitality.
